Michael Vance Banks

Michael Banks was born on December 14, 1952, to Madeline Jane (Goodloe) and Clyde Banks. He transitioned on November 9, 2023, and gained his wings. Michael was preceded in death by his father and siblings, Donna Jean (Banks) Palmer and Gerald Banks.

Michael was born hearing-impaired at birth and continued to find many ways to communicate with loved ones outside of American Sign Language. Michael had a quiet spirit but wasn’t afraid to let you know what he wanted or needed. He attended many hearing-impaired schools in Dayton and Cincinnati. He graduated from Colonel White High School.

Michael enjoyed playing video games and watching his favorite tv shows and spending time with his beloved mother, Madeline. Michael was a fighter and battled with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) for several years, but it never stopped him from sneaking his cigarettes and enjoying his favorite beer.

Michael leaves behind his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and numerous family members. Michael will be missed by his loving mother, Madeline, and his family and friends.
