Obituary
Gregory Anthony Smith, age 58 was born April 8, 1964 to Louise Bryson and William Smith in Dayton, Ohio. He departed this life and went to his eternal resting place in heaven on Monday, January 23, 2023 surrounded by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Louis Bryson; father, Willie Smith and sister, Tonya Antoinette Graham.
Gregory enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1981 and was honorably discharged on December 21, 1992. He was employed with Miami Valley Community Action Partnership for over twenty years as a Field Supervisor.
Greg leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Shantae Smith; daughters, Asia (Ryan) Maddox, Amber Smith, Ebony and D’Lashe; son, Dewayne; stepdaughter, Dashawn Brooks; two stepsons, Mark and D’Rontae Brooks; eight grandchildren, LaVon, Deisha, Sherwood, Jaya, Delton, Sr., Ryan, Ajzon and Bria; one great grandson, De’Leon; three bonus grandchildren, Jayden, Amir and Aniyah; mother-in-law, “Nana Boo”; all of his Sweet Babes as he called them; special co-workers, Big Bosses and a host of other family and friends.
Greg will be truly missed by all.
