Eria Louise Crawford

Ms. Eria Louise Crawford also known as (LALA OR better yet Louise), age 89 departed this life on November 16, 2022 at Vienna Springs Health Campus. She was a loving, caring, mother, sister, grandmother, and a friend to many.

Eria was born on July 29, 1933 to the late Fair and Eria Anderson in Toledo, Ohio. She came to Dayton, Ohio in 1955 with her children Jacqueline, Marvin and William. She married her husband Frank A. Crawford in 1954 and had four children Pamela, Carmen, Deborah and Taiwan.

Eria worked at True Blood as a Press Operator for many years and later retired from being a Nursing Assistant. Eria was a member of Baptist Church Philips Temple.

She enjoyed playing card games with family and friends and was a phenomenal and excellent cook.  She had a great sense of humor. Her fashion matched her personality very LOUD. She loved playing rhythm and blues.

Preceding her in death was her parents, Fair and Eria Anderson; her siblings, James Esmond and William Anderson; her children, Jacquelin L. Lewis, Marvin D. Anderson and William G. Crawford Sr.

Eria leaves to cherish her memory: four daughters, Pamela, Carmen, Deborah and Taiwan Crawford; 18 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; a sister, Dorothy M. Farmer; her brother, Herman Anderson, many nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
